About Me

SO I have started a blog.  A successful one I hope.

I will start off by giving you a little bit of information about me as you will be reading what I have to write.

I am a woman who has found her hidden love of all things beautiful.  I have discovered what being a girl means to me.  It has taken me a while to undercover that part of myself, but better late than never.

I am a passionate person when I find something or someone who speaks to my soul.  I love to nurture and watch things grow.  I am very supportive and vocal about what I like and what I don’t like.  I want to make the lives of others the best they can be.

I am 30 and I live in Toronto, Canada.  I am surrounded all day by books – my job requires it and I am very grateful for that.  I have had a love of reading and writing for as long as I can remember.  Being around all those words has inspired me to do something I have thought about for a long time.

I have discovered my love of all things beautiful as I said before and that means make-up and skin care.  Knowing you can enhance what you have and not covering it up.  I will never change how beautiful you are – I will simply add some glam to it.  Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and no one should tarnish that.

Make-up was always something that I found intimidating, but if you are not willing to take the plunge what is the point?  I am more than willing to make mistakes because that is what we learn from.  But then again they are never mistakes if we learn from them – we turn them into lessons. Being able to explore what makes me smile has been very rewarding and I hope that reading this gives you that feeling as well.

I am going to do my very best to spread that inspiration to those of you who read these posts.  I want you to know that if you can dream it, it can be done.  Nothing is too much if you truly have a burning passion for it. You have to make yourself happy and live life for you because in the end you are the only person who will still be there.  Make the most of it.

You may find what I say to be intimidating or very opinionated, but I will always strive to give you as much information as to why when I am speaking about something.  Being informed and relevant are the keys to being successful in my mind.  You have to be able to give your audience what they want or need at any given moment.  A wise soul told me to be myself, because everyone is taken.  I take that to heart – it may take some time, but in the end we are who we are meant to be and we have to be grateful for that.  We are given precious little time and we must seize the day!
